He studied acting at The New York Film Academy, California State University Northridge, and with private coaches such as CD Michael Testa. As a social media influencer, his online presence has amassed millions of monthly views across Instagram alone. His UGC and ambassador work covers fitness, lifestyle, nutrition, health, and more. Through his marketing expertise, he helped several businesses increase their monthly sales by over 200% in short periods of time. Benjamin Russell began acting at a young age in the Midwest. He did his first commercial and play at 5 years old and continued to study theater arts well into college. Once in Los Angeles, he began steadily working in film, commercials, and plays while studying Meisner Technique. His most notable credits include work for Amazon, the ABC Channel, Intel, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Burger King, and numerous vertical platforms.

During his time with The New York Film Academy, Benjamin wrote dozens of scripts for student filmmakers. Benjamin’s award-winning play, US, was written and performed by him at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute for the Short and Sweet Festival. He also wrote and performed plays for Los Angeles’s oldest surviving theatre group, Theatre West. Today, he helps polish scripts and has his own on-going YA series, Coming of Age, with thousands of monthly readers. He has scripts for features and pilots that are on The Black List and available to read.

Since childhood, Benjamin has always been an athletic and fitness minded individual. He competed as a child competitive gymnast and went on to wrestle and play football for his Varsity high school team. Since 2017, he has worked in the fitness industry as a part-time coach. Some of the notable people he’s coached for include Mark Wahlberg, Mario Lopez, Joey King, Sabrina Carpenter, Greer Grammar and more. In 2025, Benjamin competed in the NPC’s Men’s Physique open class for the first time, securing 3rd place overall in his division.
